Job Title:  Medical Science Liaison

Location:  South Korea

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop and implement territory-specific scientific engagement plans aligned with product launch goals and therapeutic-area strategy.
  • Build and manage relationships with KOLs and other stakeholders, effectively communicating Takeda's scientific and clinical value.
  • Capture and relay structured, high-value insights from HCPs to guide medical strategy and optimise field activities.
  • Articulate the scientific value proposition of products in patient-focused, accessible terms (patient-centric storytelling).
  • Represent Medical Affairs at scientific events, advisory boards and investigator meetings; support evidence generation initiatives.
  • Use CRM systems, analytics and AI-powered platforms to tailor and enhance scientific engagements (digital, data and omnichannel excellence).
  • Ensure all interactions comply with Takeda's policies, SOPs and regulatory/legal standards.
  • Maintain advanced therapeutic-area and product knowledge, dedicating the majority of time to external KOL/HCP engagement.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

  • Advanced scientific degree required (PhD, PharmD or MD preferred; MSc acceptable).
  • Proven of field medical (MSL) experience, ideally in competitive specialty markets.
  • Strong scientific communication, digital/analytical and omnichannel engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in English (regional languages an asset); willingness to travel up to 60-70%.
