Role Summary
Visa is seeking a Vice President to build and scale Lifecycle Marketing as a global growth practice within Global Marketing Services. Job Description
Overview:
Visa is searching for a Vice President, Lifecycle Marketing, Global Marketing Services, to build and scale Lifecycle Marketing as a core growth engine of Marketing Services. This leader will set the global vision, build a differentiated and productized offering, and drive commercialization across acquisition, activation, usage, retention and re-engagement. The role will connect strategy, data, technology, AI-enabled capabilities, and campaign execution to deliver measurable growth for Visa's clients. As a senior member of the Global Marketing Services leadership team, this leader will partner closely with regional Marketing Services teams, Product, Data, Technology, Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA), Sales and Finance. The ideal candidate is a global practice builder with deep expertise in Lifecycle Marketing who can move fluently from strategy and product roadmap development to client solutioning, commercialization, and scaled execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set the vision, strategy and multi-year roadmap for Lifecycle Marketing as a global practice, aligned with Visa's broader Marketing Services growth agenda and future ambition.
- Own the end-to-end offering, including priority use cases, value proposition, solution architecture, and client solutions across industries, segments and regions.
- Build a productized, repeatable portfolio spanning acquisition, onboarding and activation, engagement, usage, retention, reactivation, and loyalty.
- Drive product and roadmap development in close partnership with Product, Data and Technology teams, ensuring tight integration of AI capabilities, differentiated Visa assets and Visa Marketing 360 campaign execution capabilities.
- Elevate targeting, segmentation, personalization, measurement, analytics, experimentation and optimization as core components of lifecycle strategy and performance.
- Develop global go-to-market sales plays, enablement, playbooks, case studies and client-facing materials that equip regional and market teams to sell and deliver consistently.
- Drive global commercialization with regional Marketing Services and Sales leaders to build pipeline, improve win rates, accelerate time to revenue and scale adoption across markets.
- Partner with Finance and regional leaders to establish commercial objectives, pricing principles, investment priorities, performance reporting and disciplined practice management.
- Identify and lead strategic partnerships and assess partnership opportunities that can accelerate capability development and speed to market across data, content and technology.
- Serve as a senior client-facing leader in CMO and executive-level conversations, shaping complex opportunities and bringing a compelling point of view on lifecycle growth, performance marketing and AI-enabled transformation.
- Establish the global operating model, governance, standards and quality controls required for clear accountability and consistent execution across Global, Regional and Market teams.
- Build and scale a high-performing global practice team over time, defining the critical roles, capabilities and resourcing model across commercialization, campaign execution, targeting, analytics and strategic partnerships.
- Develop thought leadership and intellectual capital that strengthen Visa's credibility and market position in lifecycle marketing.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 12 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 8 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 15 or more years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, PhD).
- 15 or more years of progressive marketing leadership experience, with deep expertise in lifecycle marketing, CRM, performance marketing, growth marketing, customer engagement or marketing technology.
- Senior leadership experience in a global, multi-region environment, with demonstrated success leading through a complex matrix.
- Significant client-facing experience, including advising C-suite and other senior executives and leading complex, multi-stakeholder engagements.
- Demonstrated success building and scaling a new practice, productized service, platform-enabled capability or global center of excellence and converting it into sustainable revenue growth.
- Strong commercial orientation, with experience packaging capabilities, enabling sellers, developing pipeline and supporting large, complex pitches or RFPs.
- Fluency in data-driven marketing, segmentation, personalization, measurement, martech and the application of AI to marketing workflows, content, decisioning and optimization.
- Experience shaping product roadmaps and working closely with product, data, technology and analytics teams to translate client needs into scalable capabilities.
- Track record developing senior client relationships and turning complex marketing needs into clear, executable solutions with measurable business outcomes.
- Experience evaluating and managing strategic partnerships.
- Strong financial and analytical acumen, including the ability to prioritize investments, assess commercial potential and manage against revenue, pipeline and profitability objectives.
- · Proven ability to influence across global and regional teams without direct authority, clarify accountability and drive alignment in a highly matrixed organization.
- · Executive presence and exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to advise CMOs and senior business leaders with clarity and pragmatism.

- · Comfort operating in white space, with sound judgment, a builder mindset and a strong bias for action, accountability and measurable impact.
