With access to innovative tools, continuous learning, and a global network of diverse talent, we help clients transform and operate at scale in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. We are seeking an experienced Principal Intelligence Analyst to join our advanced cyber intelligence capability.

Accenture Security helps organizations prepare, protect, detect, respond to, and recover across the full security lifecycle. Our teams bring together deep industry expertise, advanced analytics, and threat intelligence capabilities to help clients anticipate and defend against emerging cyber threats.

You Are

An experienced cyber threat intelligence professional who operates as a senior individual contributor with broad expertise across multiple intelligence disciplines. You thrive in dynamic environments where priorities shift quickly and are comfortable stepping into complex analytical problems without requiring detailed direction. You bring strong analytical rigor, produce consistently high-quality outputs, and influence outcomes across teams without formal authority.

The Work

As a Principal Operational Intelligence Analyst, you will serve as a flexible, high-impact analytical resource across multiple intelligence teams. You will be deployed based on priority needs, surge demand, and cross-cutting analytical challenges, contributing across the intelligence lifecycle.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver intelligence analysis across multiple domains, including collection, attribution, campaign tracking, and technical threat analysis

  • Produce high-quality intelligence products that support operational and strategic decision-making

  • Apply structured analytic techniques to assess threat activity and develop defensible assessments

  • Conduct quality review of analytical products, including attribution and campaign analysis

  • Support cross-team coordination and contribute to priority intelligence efforts without formal management responsibility

  • Provide surge support to high-priority intelligence requirements and emerging threat scenarios

  • Mentor and onboard analysts across multiple teams, contributing to overall analytical capability development

  • Brief senior stakeholders on intelligence findings, often on short timelines

Travel may be required for this role.  The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here's what you need

  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in cyber threat intelligence (CTI), cyber operations, or intelligence analysis

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience across at least two intelligence disciplines, including collection, attribution, campaign analysis, or technical threat analysis

  • Minimum 3 years of experience using at least one Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) and at least 2 years of experience leveraging commercial CTI providers (e.g., Flashpoint, Recorded Future, Intel 471, Cybersixgill)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience applying the MITRE ATT&CK framework in intelligence analysis, reporting, or threat modeling

  • Minimum 3 years of experience using structured analytic techniques (e.g., Analysis of Competing Hypotheses, key assumptions checks, diamond model) in intelligence production

  • Minimum 3 years of experience applying estimative language and confidence levels in written intelligence assessments

  • Minimum 2 years of experience serving in a senior analytical capacity (e.g., deputy analyst, principal analyst, or equivalent role supporting operational or enterprise intelligence functions)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Professional Skill Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver intelligence briefings to senior stakeholders

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience

  • Demonstrated track record of producing multiple high-quality intelligence products across different domains, including at least 10–15 completed deliverables (e.g., reports, briefs, or assessments)

Bonus points if you have

  • Working knowledge across multiple CTI domains without specialization in a single area to the exclusion of others

  • Understanding of the operational, tactical, and strategic intelligence levels and associated outputs

  • Familiarity with the full cyber threat intelligence lifecycle, including requirements, collection, analysis, and dissemination

  • Knowledge of priority threat actors, major campaigns, and evolving underground ecosystem dynamics

  • Ability to conduct quality review and editorial refinement of intelligence products produced by other analysts

  • Experience performing analysis that crosses traditional CTI boundaries, integrating multiple intelligence types

  • Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes without formal authority, coordinating across teams and stakeholders

  • Comfort operating without a fixed team structure, adapting to changing priorities and assignments

  • Experience mentoring and developing analysts across multiple teams or functions

  • High degree of discretion when working with sensitive intelligence and leadership stakeholders

  • Ability to consistently produce exceptional written analytical products that set quality standards

  • Strong editorial skills, including the ability to refine and elevate analytical reporting to publication-ready quality

  • Experience delivering briefings to senior leadership stakeholders with limited preparation time
