WHERE EMPATHY MEETS EXCELLENCE
Pfizer created a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Marketing and Audience Team to enable and drive a new standard for health care provider, consumer, and patient engagement in pharma. This team, part of the Chief Marketing Office (CMO), partners with cross-functional leaders to redefine our engagement strategies and provide exceptionally timely, differentiated, and relevant messages that drive deeper relationships and support across inbound and outbound consumer, patient and HCP experiences to positively impact health outcomes in the US.
ROLE SUMMARY
Pfizer is looking for a Customer Data Platform (CDP) expert. Sitting within the US CRM Marketing team, you’ll help the US CRM Consumer strategists bring their email targeting approach to life within SalesForce Data Cloud (SFDC). Through effective targeting and audience modeling, you will help Pfizer send the right message to the right person at the right time. Email communications sent nationally (or regionally) by US HQ will be in scope for you, including 20+ priority brands.
You will support audiences for Pfizer US CRM owned-channel communications only. All requests come through the US CRM audience intake pipeline and originate from US CRM strategists. More specifically, as an individual contributor you will review the pipeline of CDP audience structuring/building requests, build CDP Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) audiences within SFDC, organize and manage Pfizer website question and answer pairs utilized in registration forms, share CDP audiences internally for approval, and support a CDP data dictionary or glossary summarizing the data contained in the US CDP. Pfizer’s Marketing Operations (known as Marketing Channel Delivery, or MCD) and Accenture extended workforce teams will be your partners, since we rely on their support to deploy email campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You’d also work with the website development teams and influence the development of website registration forms that are a key source of consented, first-party data used broadly by the CRM team. SQL skills will be an asset to help you understand the US DTC enterprise data warehouse and to query it.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage Pfizer’s usage of an internal QA pair tool, which catalogues all questions and answers utilized on Pfizer US DTC websites.
- Support a Jira-based audience build pipeline
- Engage with the Marketing Channel Delivery (MCD) and Accenture teams who review and approve our SFDC audience segments and then deploy related email marketing campaigns in SFMC.
- Partner closely with engineering and technical leads understanding, at a nuanced level, the data types that will be available within the US DTC CDP
- Utilize Salesforce Marketing Cloud analytics to extract insights that improve CRM DTC targeting strategy and to measure CRM’s impact to our stakeholders
- Use Salesforce Data Cloud for reporting
- Engage with Pfizer data scientists and analytics project managers to incorporate their audience models and efforts into the CRM Marketing team’s audience strategies
