As a Bioprocess Technician, you will join our dynamic cGMP manufacturing team, directly impacting patient lives by producing innovative biotherapeutic medicines using state-of-the-art automated systems. Operating across cell culture, purification, or manufacturing services, you play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and inspection preparedness.

The Opportunity:

  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot automated production systems, cleaning/sterilization equipment, and benchtop analytical tools.

  • Perform core biomanufacturing activities, including cell culture growth, sampling, harvesting, protein purification, formulation, freeze-thaw, and transfer processes.

  • Prepare essential media and buffer solutions according to precise production guidelines.

  • Maintain cleanroom environments, fixed tank systems, and filtration units in strict compliance with cGMP, SOP, and safety standards.

  • Perform detail-oriented documentation by accurately reviewing process tickets, equipment readings, and calculations.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members and supervisors to quickly resolve minor equipment and operational deviations.

  • Foster a positive, proactive safety culture by immediately reporting incidents, near misses, and environmental concerns.

Who you are:

  • You hold a High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

  • You bring background knowledge or experience in bio-processing and biopharmaceutical technology.

  • You possess strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to document process information accurately.

  • You are comfortable using computer-based systems and operating automated equipment.

  • You thrive in a physically active cleanroom environment, which includes standing for 8–10 hours, climbing stairs, lifting up to 30 lbs, and adhering to strict gowning requirements (e.g., scrubs, bunny suits, steel-toe boots).

Preferred:

  • A Biotech certificate from an approved program or 1–2 years of hands-on biopharmaceutical manufacturing experience.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in at least one key manufacturing functional area (e.g., bioreactor operation, column chromatography, or automated CIP/SIP).

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position of Oceanside, CA is $43,300.00 - $80,300.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, level, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
