About the role
As E2E Supply Chain Planner, you will play a key role in shaping and optimizing Takeda’s end-to-end supply chain network. You will use data-driven insights to support capacity planning, production location decisions, logistics optimization and broader network strategies. Working across functions and with senior stakeholders, you will identify opportunities to strengthen supply chain performance, resilience and service while supporting Takeda’s evolving business needs.
How you will contribute
- Balance supply with demand respecting production capacity and market needs; generate and maintain Master Production Schedule (MPS)
- Generate monthly Sales & Operations (S&OP) plans and communicate to those within the plasma-derived therapies business unit
- Analyze supply chain, capacity, and operational data to identify constraints, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
- Align with site operations and finance on capacity usage; provide input for budget process
- Interface with production planners to ensure execution of the MPS and resolve urgent supply issues
- Responsible for midterm inventory planning
- Support long-range planning & value stream maps for the respective product portfolio and support strategic operations
- Ensure link from supply chain to stakeholders in site operations, finance, commercial supply chain teams, and the broader business unit
- Participate in projects important to secure long-term market supply
- Work on continuous improvement of supply chain planning tool(s) (setup maintenance, report generation and the overall planning process)
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable effective decision-making and execution
- Ability to work collaboratively, communicate openly, and actively contribute to shared success
What you bring to Takeda
- Strong experience in supply chain management, network design, planning, logistics or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets and translate insights into practical supply chain recommendations.
- Experience with capacity planning, inventory management, network optimization, and/or production footprint decisions.
- Project management skills with experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Ability to develop strategic plans and translate business requirements into executable supply chain solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in complex and changing environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including interaction with senior internal and external partners.
