Within Bespoke Solutions, the Refactor hardware development team empowers Region Services teams by eliminating reliance on external vendor constraints. This position requires that the candidate selected must be a US Citizen and currently possess and maintain an active Secret security clearance. The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.

Key job responsibilities
- Development of complex PCB designs incorporating FPGA SoCs
- Support system-level hardware architecture decisions and technical requirements
- Support new product introduction (NPI) processes with contract manufacturers
- Develop and validate high-speed digital and mixed-signal circuits
- Ensure designs meet EMI/EMC compliance, thermal, and signal integrity requirements
- Partner with FPGA/firmware teams to define hardware interfaces and requirements
- Participate in design reviews and drive technical consensus across multiple teams


A day in the life
You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of hardware, software, and FPGA engineers in our dedicated product development lab. Your responsibilities will span supporting innovative hardware solutions, conducting PCB design reviews, troubleshooting prototypes, and providing technical influence to team members. You'll establish strong partnerships with product managers to define technical requirements, collaborate with FPGA engineers to refine hardware interfaces, and work alongside manufacturing teams to ensure successful production scaling.

Basic Qualifications

- Experience with DFx (Design for cost, test, manufacturing)
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or experience working in electrical engineering field
- 3+ years of hardware engineering experience
- Experience with FPGA SoC hardware integration, hardware validation and debugging

Preferred Qualifications

- Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of hardware engineering experience
- Expertise in signal integrity and power integrity analysis and PCB design tools (Allegro, Altium, or similar)
- Experience with high-volume manufacturing and NPI processes
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret / SCI (or higher)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
