A Day in the life
We are looking for a result-driven and innovative Global Market Development Specialist to help create and implement marketing programs for a robust portfolio of single-use products. This is an exciting and evolving market that requires dynamic and adaptable marketing efforts.
The candidate in this role will need to successfully work within a highly matrixed organization to develop global, multi-channel marketing campaigns, and manage tactical execution to achieve results. This individual should have a strong background in B2B marketing, with demonstrated ability to optimize marketing efforts by channel and funnel stage.
Location: Waltham, MA. Relocation assistance is NOT provided.

Global Market Development Specialist responsibilities will include:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic marketing plans, including analysis of customer segments, competitor analysis, business trends, and market opportunities.
Work closely with product management to ensure product positioning, messaging, and value propositions are aligned with customer needs.
Partner with digital marketing colleagues to implement and optimize performance across digital channels.
Create and implement appropriate technical marketing content across digital channels, including web, video, social media, paid search and display advertising.
Develop sales force selling tools and customer materials in collaboration with product management, R&D, and commercial teams.
Act as a brand ambassador, understanding, upholding, and communicating our multi-brand strategy in all aspects of our marketing programs.
Coordinate with global functions to ensure consistency with brand profiles and company standards.
Interact with varying levels of internal and external personnel including direct customer communication, public presentation, and a team-focused approach.
Work closely with regional marketing development managers to build and implement marketing programs within their regions.
May perform other related duties as the need arises and/or assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Marketing or related field
4-5 years of marketing experience (biopharma/ biotech segment is a plus)
Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization and align strategy with stakeholders
Knowledge of the following key competencies: value proposition development, 4Ps, 3Cs and marketing mix, marketing communication, communication channels, channels-to-market, customer segmentation, voice of customer
Experience with product area marketing plans, general knowledge of operating plans or industry practices for promoting and selling similar products
Experience developing messaging for sales and customer facing materials
Outstanding communication skills as well as analytical, project management and planning skills necessary
Strong business sense and customer focus

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $83,300.00–$100,000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
