Job title: Lead - Product Development Analyst
The Purpose of the role
Join our dynamic Financial Planning & Advice Product Area at Fidelity as a Product Development Analyst, where you'll play a pivotal role in developing innovative financial planning tools. As part of our Product Area, the Product Development Analyst collaborates closely with developers, designers, and partners to ensure our solutions meet the evolving needs of our users. This position combines big-picture vision with practical execution, making it a great opportunity for candidates passionate about innovation and financial technology.

As a member of the team, you'll play a pivotal role in developing innovative financial planning tools. As part of our Product Area, the Product Development Analyst collaborates closely with developers, designers, and partners to ensure our solutions meet the evolving needs of our users.
The skills that are key to this Role
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 3 to 5+ years’ professional experience
- 2+ years in financial planning experience, with project management or product development background preferred with a passion for financial wellness!
- Experience working with deployment and enablement teams to bring digital experiences to market, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical execution
- Product development skills, including crafting clear & actionable business requirements and understanding client experience & system requirements.
- Possess analysis skills with the ability to understand how data & experiences work within a complex ecosystem
- Can work in a fast-paced and frequently ambiguous environment.
- Thinks strategically about end-to-end experiences, implementation, and measurement.
- Enabling work across business units and teams to ensure the best client experiences
- Demonstrates critical thinking and structured problem solving, with the ability to interpret data, draw out key insights, and clearly articulate the “so what” and “what-if” scenarios, translating them into actionable recommendations
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, collaborate across teams, and independently drive projects to deliver business outcomes
- Strong time management, prioritization, and execution discipline, with a consistent focus on delivery and accountability
Expertise we are looking for:
- Graduate / Master’s Degree Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Operations Research
- 3+ years of relevant experience
