The GBO Advanced Capabilities COE Senior Manager supports an Innovation Incubator to identify, pilot, and scale emerging technologies (e.g., GenAI, automation, advanced analytics) that unlock new value for Finance, also serving as the connective tissue between the Finance Leadership Team (Finance LT) and BI&T. This role helps in translating GBO strategic priorities into a clear performance reporting, analytics and capabilities roadmap, oversees end-to-end delivery, and ensures sustainable operations leveraging a Hyderabad-based team. The position supports in accelerating digital proficiency and AI utilization across Finance by standing up scalable products, governed processes, and measurable value realization.

Key Responsibilities and Major Duties:

  • Innovation Incubator: Support Innovation Incubator for GBO, scanning emerging technologies, prioritizing high-impact use cases, and working with BI&T to convert successful pilots into production capabilities.
  • Sustainment & Run Operations: Support DS COE team in establishing a robust build-to-run model that utilizes a team to operate and sustain capabilities post-implementation, including championing continuous improvement. As needed, create ecosystem of external partners to supplement team, including strategy for leveraging company partnerships with hyper-scalers (e.g., AWS)
  • Data & Analytics Value Realization: Execute value frameworks (efficiency, accuracy, cycle-time, decision quality); help instrumenting products for usage/impact analytics; support publishing quarterly value reports.
  • Operating Model & Ways of Working: Lead engagement models between GBO , BI&T, and external partners; clarify RACI across discovery, build, and run.
  • Portfolio Governance & Prioritization: Lead prioritization and portfolio planning for Advanced Capabilities initiatives based on business impact, strategic priorities, and capacity; Oversee portfolio delivery, including milestones, risks, dependencies, and value realization
  • Team Leadership & Capability Development: Lead, coach, and develop Advanced Capabilities COE team members, including Manager I and Manager II associates; Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, continuous learning, and capability development
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Change Adoption: Build and maintain partnerships across GBO, Finance, BI&T, and business stakeholders to drive adoption, value realization, and sustainable business impact from Advanced Capabilities solutions

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Business Administration, Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
  • MBA, PhD, or relevant master’s degree preferred

Required Skill Set

  • 7+ years in Finance, BI/Analytics, Digital Transformation or Technology roles, with 5+ years experience leading cross-functional product or capability portfolios
  • Experience identifying, prioritizing, and scaling analytics, automation, AI/GenAI, and digital capability initiatives
  • Proven track record translating business strategy and stakeholder needs into scalable analytics, technology, and capability roadmaps
  • Strong understanding of data and analytics ecosystems, including data platforms, visualization tools, AI/ML enablement, and digital products
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing capability delivery from ideation through adoption and value realization
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and business audiences
  • Fluency in data/analytics platforms (data lake/warehouse, visualization, ML/AI enablement), and product management practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders across Finance, GBO, BI&T, and other functions
  • Familiarity with SAP, SAP BI, Hyperion, and enterprise reporting and analytics environments
