VM copy- Copying an existing VM commonly called cloning or creating a template requires a solid understanding of hypervisors like VMware vSphere, Microsoft HyperV, or VirtualBox.

We are seeking experienced Migration Execution Specialists to support Carbonite-based lift-and-shift migrations across Linux and Windows environments. The role involves executing end-to-end migration activities, leveraging automation, and ensuring seamless transition of workloads to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Key Responsibilities
Execute Carbonite-based migration projects (Lift & Shift) for enterprise workloads.
Perform OS-level and VM-level checks (Linux/Windows).
Troubleshoot migration issues and provide root cause analysis.
Apply automation frameworks (Ansible, Puppet, Python) to streamline migration tasks.
Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and cloud teams to ensure successful migration execution.
Document migration processes, issues, and resolutions for knowledge sharing.
Support VMware and GCP integration during migration activities.
Participate in war rooms and provide technical leadership during critical migration phases.
Perform hands-on migration tasks (replication, cutover, validation)
Troubleshoot migration failures and performance issues
Ensure adherence to architecture and security standards
Must-Have Skills
Proven experience in Cloud Migration (Lift & Shift) execution.
SME-level expertise in RedHat Linux (for Linux track) OR Windows Server (for Windows track).
Strong knowledge of VMware infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) migrations.
Proficiency in Automation tools: Ansible, Puppet, Python, PowerShell.
Good-to-Have Skills
