Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Good to have skills : Python (Programming Language)

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating cross-functional planning and integrating various systems to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business objectives. The lead actively monitors testing progress, manages defect resolution, and ensures that quality processes are effectively implemented to support continuous improvement and successful project outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of quality goals with project objectives.
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to promote best practices within the team.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Playwright.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Python (Programming Language).
- Strong understanding of automated testing frameworks and their implementation.
- Ability to design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience in integrating testing tools within continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes of defects.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Playwright.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
