Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating cross-functional planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The lead actively monitors testing progress, manages defect resolution, and evaluates key performance indicators to maintain and improve the overall quality assurance process. Collaboration with multiple stakeholders to synchronize efforts and drive continuous improvement is a central aspect of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate communication between quality engineering and other departments to ensure alignment on project goals and quality standards.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the quality engineering processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium.
- Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools related to Selenium.
- Experience in designing and implementing test automation scripts to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Ability to analyze test results and troubleshoot issues to ensure robust defect identification and resolution.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and quality assurance best practices.
- Skilled in collaborating with development teams to integrate automated testing within the development process.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Selenium.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
