Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Salesforce B2B Commerce Lead – Specialist with 5–8 years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering scalable eCommerce solutions on Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce platform capabilities, with proven experience in both backend and frontend development. You will lead technical delivery, mentor team members, and ensure adherence to best practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive successful multi-market rollouts.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Own the technical direction and ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Salesforce B2B Commerce solutions.
  • Lead and mentor developers, providing guidance through code reviews, technical planning, and solution design.
  • Design, develop, debug, unit test, and document complex Salesforce applications and integrations.
  • Develop and customize Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Communities for B2B Commerce Cloud.
  • Implement Apex Classes, Triggers (before/after insert, update, delete), and Scheduler Classes for automation.
  • Create and manage Flows (Schedule-triggered, AutoLaunched, Record-triggered) and modify standard checkout flows.
  • Make architectural and design decisions ensuring scalability, maintainability, and compliance with Salesforce standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical implementation with business requirements.
  • Proactively identify technical risks and propose improvements across the codebase and processes.
  • Ensure proper validation checks, error handling, and user experience enhancements (e.g., Toast Notifications).
  • Act as a key troubleshooter in complex/escalated incidents and provide innovative solutions.
  • Manage multi-market rollouts including multi-currency and multi-language implementations.
  • Ensure adherence to CI/CD pipelines, code quality standards, and Salesforce best practices.

Professional and Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud (LWR template, checkout flows, staged rollouts).
  • Hands-on experience in Apex programming (Classes, Triggers, Scheduler, Batch jobs).
  • Proficiency in Lightning Web Components (LWC) including lifecycle hooks (connectedCallback, renderedCallback), directives (for:each, iterator, if:true), and decorators (@track, @wire, @api).
  • Experience with frontend customization: styling LWC with custom CSS, applying validation checks, and building reusable components.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Communities and integration with external APIs.
  • Strong understanding of SOQL, data loading activities (Data Loader, Workbench), and permission set assignments.
  • Experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, and code management tools.
