What you’ll do
As an Integration Developer, you will design, build, and support secure and reliable data integration solutions across enterprise platforms. This role focuses on developing APIs, managing middleware, and implementing synchronous and asynchronous messaging patterns. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, maintain detailed mapping documentation, and proactively monitor or troubleshoot interface performance to optimize data exchange across all environments.
Due to the secure nature of this role, we are needing candidates that has Australian citizenship with baseline security clearance.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain system integrations and interfaces across applications and platforms
Build and support APIs, middleware, and messaging-based integration solutions
Implement integration patterns for synchronous and asynchronous data exchange
Collaborate with architects, developers, and business analysts to understand integration requirements
Ensure integrations meet performance, security, and reliability requirements
Develop and maintain integration documentation, mappings, and interface specifications
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration failures and performance issues
Support testing and deployment of integration solutions across environments
Contribute to continuous improvement of integration standards, patterns, and tooling

5+ years’ experience in Integration Development or middleware-focused engineering roles
Strong experience designing and developing APIs and integration services
Experience with integration platforms and tools - Azure Integration Services.
Solid understanding of messaging patterns, event-driven architectures, and data transformation
Experience working with REST, SOAP, and message-based integrations
Familiarity with cloud platforms and hybrid integration environments
Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines for integration solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Australian citizenship with continuous residency of atleast 3-5 years
