We are seeking highly talented and experienced software engineers to join our team, dedicated to building and contributing to open-source Business Process automation software that revolutionizes the automation and digitization of business processes.

The Purpose of This Role

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in creating cutting-edge solutions that drive the digitization efforts of Fidelity, providing our associates and customers with the digital capabilities they need for incredible service experiences. Your expertise in building and contributing to enterprise-level open-source projects will be instrumental in the success of this role.

Be a hands-on software developer who brings experience working with application-layer development for web applications. Participate in identifying and building technologies, practices, and tools needed to build the platform. Collaborate with diverse groups within the organization, implement the best engineering practices, and promote those across other APS, FAE and Enterprise products/businesses.

• Represent Fidelity in the open-source community by actively contributing code and engaging with community forums. Showcase Fidelity expertise and commitment to open-source software development.
• Work closely with business units in re-engineering and automation efforts that result in impactful and significant straight thru processing, while developing best-in-class digital experiences for our customers and associates.
• Participate in identifying and building capabilities needed for the future of the open-source platform; collaborating with business, architecture, and technology teams. Contribute to the strategic roadmap and drive innovation within the enterprise.
• Mentor and coach other team members to build their skills and foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Share your knowledge and expertise to empower other teams to achieve and grow within the business process automation space.
• Conduct demos and reviews with stakeholders and key partners to gather feedback, validate requirements, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Actively engage in the feedback loop to drive improvements and deliver optimal solutions.

Technical /  Behavioral

• Proficient in BPM and process orchestration. Specifically the process design user experience development like Camunda/Fluxnova modeler
• Proficient Java, TypeScript, React and Python developer with solid foundations in object-oriented programming & design patterns
• Proficiency in automating and digitizing business processes, leveraging modern architectures and best practices.
• ·       Proficient in distributed system design and implementation, and the ability to ensure high-performance, high-reliability operation of large-scale systems.
• ·       Experience designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable digital services using Java and related technologies.
• ·       Strong working knowledge of AWS, to deploy and manage applications utilizing services such as S3, EC2, RDS, EKS.
• ·       A history of contributing to existing enterprise-level open-source projects, leveraging your expertise, and collaborating with the community to drive continuous improvement.
• ·       Contributions to the documentation and knowledge sharing within the open-source community, promoting the adoption and success of the software.
• ·       Experience working with containers and building digital services in a serverless architecture using technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Lambda, and AWS ECS is an added advantage.

You will partner with cross-functional teams across multiple business units to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers and help Fidelity achieve its goal of becoming a digital leader.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

• 6-9 years of experience in REST API Development, Web Application and cloud native solutions using Java, Python, React and Typescript
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Technology/Masters in Computer Science
