System Administrator

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to manage and support enterprise infrastructure across Linux, Windows, and cloud environments. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of critical IT systems while driving continuous improvement through automation, troubleshooting, and infrastructure enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, monitor, and maintain Linux and Windows server environments.
• Ensure the availability, integrity, and performance of enterprise infrastructure services.
• Perform system monitoring, patch management, upgrades, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Support IT security initiatives, including firewall management, antivirus protection, VPN administration, and security patching.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, operating system, and application-related incidents.
• Provide technical consultation and support to development and project teams.
• Participate in technical research and recommend infrastructure improvements and automation opportunities.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and support audit compliance requirements.
• Mentor and provide knowledge transfer to junior team members and new hires.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call support and incident management activities when required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in system administration, operating system support, or infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services.
• Experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise security technologies and infrastructure hardening.
• Familiarity with middleware solutions and integration platforms.
• Relevant certifications in Linux, Microsoft, AWS, or infrastructure-related technologies.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
