We are seeking a Senior Manager of Product Management - Tech to lead and manage the product management function for STT. Your team of product managers owns a diverse and high-impact portfolio spanning both of these areas: AI-powered internal tools—including agentic systems, knowledge platforms, GTM orchestration, and intelligence products—that are redefining how field teams engage with specialists, and a portfolio of 20+ customer-facing products that solve real-world adoption challenges, support full development-to-production lifecycles, and are evolving into AI-ready, agent-accessible architectures. You will be responsible for setting a cohesive product vision and strategy across this entire portfolio while staying deeply engaged at the individual product level—shaping direction, making prioritization calls, and driving accountability through your product managers to ensure every product delivers meaningful impact for both AWS field teams and external customers.
This role is inherently cross-functional and cross-organizational. You will partner with engineering, science, design, GTM, and field leadership across multiple organizations to drive alignment and influence strategic direction. You will be hands-on in guiding product direction at the individual product level—working through your product managers to shape roadmaps, evaluate trade-offs, and ensure each product delivers measurable impact while maintaining coherence across the broader portfolio. You will represent the portfolio in executive reviews with Directors and VPs.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of building, managing, and developing high-performing product management teams. You bring deep experience with AI/ML technologies and agentic systems, the judgment to set strategic direction across both internal platforms and external customer-facing products, and the leadership skills to raise the bar for PM excellence across your organization.
Key job responsibilities
Set and drive a cohesive product vision and multi-year strategy across the portfolio while staying hands-on at the individual product level—working through your PMs to shape roadmaps, evaluate proposals, and make prioritization calls
Build, manage, and develop a high-performing PM team—hiring top talent, coaching on best practices, setting ambitious goals, and fostering a culture of customer obsession and operational excellence
Guide product direction across both halves of the portfolio: AI-powered internal tools enabling field self-sufficiency through agentic workflows and knowledge platforms, and customer-facing products accelerating AWS service adoption through AI-ready, agent-accessible architectures
Drive cross-organizational alignment with engineering, science, design, GTM, and field leadership—resolving dependencies, driving integration strategies, and ensuring seamless consumption by field teams, partners, and customers
Establish outcome-oriented metrics and accountability frameworks across the portfolio, ensuring your PMs are measuring impact on adoption, productivity, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes
Represent the product portfolio to senior leadership, clearly articulating vision, progress, risks, and trade-offs at Director and VP-level reviews
