Description

As a NAND ATE Test Engineer you will lead and support the testing, failure analysis and qualification of various programs using SSD (solid-state drive). A strong candidate will have experience with NAND validation, and reliability testing. You will be part of a world class team of HW Engineers who identify and resolve potential risks for all aspects of NAND qualification and testing, including generating test programs and scripts. You will have direct impact on Apple's future products by ensuring world-class solutions to demanding test and engineering challenges

Responsibilities

Support qualification and testing of NAND solution
Create test validation checklists and work in cross-functional teams to ensure quality and performance
Support internal engineering teams in system and component failure analysis and defining corrective actions.
Manage and run SSD/NAND stress test rack qualification testing at the system level

Minimum Qualifications

BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
Experience with memory automated test equipment (ATE), including Advantest, Teradyne, or equivalent platforms
Experience in C/C++ and scripting languages such as Python, Lua, MATLAB, or similar tools
Experience in memory systems, technologies, and test processes, with emphasis on NAND Flash

Preferred Qualifications

10+ years of relevant industry experience
Experience in coding scripts and board design necessary to enable ATE test solutions
Understanding of Electronic Engineering Fundamentals includes Signal and Power Integrity.
Ability to work with test equipment (i.e., oscilloscope, logic analyzer, Protocol analyzer, etc.)
Experience with failure analysis and troubleshooting
Experience with embedded system integration and development
Coding experience and understanding of embedded OS, SW FTL
Experience with PCIe, SSD controllers and firmware

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,500 and $311,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
