About the role
Original posting provided by amazon
We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the CTSC Finance team. This role will primarily focus on the financial support for our rental program, serving as the finance point of contact for rental operations for our customer terminals, and developing expertise in rental financial models including fixed asset classification, depreciation, and rental allocation.
The role will also contribute to reporting and analysis across the broader CTSC Finance team as business needs evolve. If you thrive on building from the ground up, navigating ambiguity, and driving financial rigor in a fast moving launch environment, this role offers the rare opportunity to shape the financial infrastructure of a global program from day one.
Key job responsibilities
- Serve as the finance lead for the fulfillment of Leo's customer terminal rental program, enabling the team to build and scale rental operations by providing dedicated financial support.
- Engage with cross functional partners across the business team, accounting, and financial planning teams to ensure financial readiness for the rental program.
- Build and maintain rental financial reporting including dashboards and recurring reports.
- Execute recurring rental finance processes including month end close reporting and rental tracking, building on foundations established by the team.
- Develop growing expertise in rental financial models (e.g., fixed asset classification, depreciation, rental allocation).
- Contribute financial inputs to planning cycles and month end close for rental related costs.
- Build, improve, and automate reporting tools and processes across the team, including through the use of AI and other scalable solutions.
A day in the life
Your morning might start by reviewing rental cost actuals ahead of month end close, checking that the latest data ties to what the business team is reporting. Mid morning, you join a working session with the accounting team to walk through how rental units should be reflected in the financials, taking notes and building your understanding of the accounting treatment.
After lunch, you might be working with the BI team to refine a rental dashboard, making sure the right metrics are surfacing for the team. Later in the day, you pull together a cost comparison that your manager asked for to support a planning cycle input, or you spend time exploring how an AI tool could automate a manual reporting step that the team has been doing in spreadsheets.
Some days you're heads down in data, other days you're in forums with business and finance partners learning how the rental program operates end to end. No two days look the same, but every day you're building something new for a program that's just getting started.
About the team
The Customer Terminal Supply Chain (CTSC) Finance team is the controller for fulfillment, inventory, and rental costs for Leo's customer terminals, supporting both the P&L and balance sheet. We lead Leo financial reporting and partner with the business to ensure finance readiness for every new country launch, drive cost optimization, and support strategic initiatives.
The team covers three pillars: global fulfillment (forward and reverse logistics, warehouse costs), inventory management (valuation, adjustments, warehouse transfers), and rentals. You will join a team that partners closely with Devices Finance, Leo Accounting, Leo FP&A, and Leo BizOps, and works hand in hand with the Leo Inventory and Fulfillment Technology business team.
We are building financial infrastructure from the ground up for a program that is still in its early stages, which means there is real opportunity to shape how things are done.
