Role Summary

The project manager will support end-to-end QA environments by coordinating deployment schedules, test execution windows, release readiness checkpoints, issue escalation, and cross-functional communication across Product, Development, QA, Release Management, and SaaS Operations.  This role ensures successful progression of both software releases and patches through integration testing by overseeing packaging, deployment, and end-to-end validation across the software delivery lifecycle.  The successful candidate will be highly organized, comfortable operating across multiple concurrent release trains, and be able to translate complex delivery activities into actionable plans, risks, decisions, and reports.  The role requires strong project management fundamentals, excellent communication skills, practical experience with Jira and release workflows, and the ability to keep teams aligned when priorities, defects, environment constraints, or deployment dependencies change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and continuously monitor the release process for CRIMS core releases, including tracking milestones, confirming readiness, escalating risks, and promoting collaboration across engineering, QA, and product teams
  • Own the operational schedule for end-to-end QA environment activity, including deployment windows, test execution periods, validation checkpoints, defect triage, and release-readiness reviews
  • Assist with patch releases, including scheduling, packaging coordination, delivery tracking, and stakeholder communication
  • Maintain a clear view of deployment and testing status across active releases, ensuring blockers, environment constraints, failed validations, and unresolved defects are visible, escalated, and actively managed
  • Identify and resolve delivery impediments by partnering with Development, QA, Product, Release Management, DevOps, and business stakeholders
  • Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports for Product, Engineering and QA audiences using Jira data, release schedules, defect trends, and environment readiness information to support decision-making
  • Contribute to best practices for release execution, QA environment coordination, deployment governance, and cross-team communication;  document repeatable processes and help integrate them into the core development lifecycle
  • Facilitate team collaboration through structured meetings, action tracking, risk reviews, dependency management, and follow-through on commitments

Technical Environment / Qualifications

  • Experience in the software industry; fintech, financial services technology, or investment management technology experience is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, program coordination, release coordination, QA operations, or a similar delivery-focused role
  • Understanding of release management concepts, including release trains, patch releases, deployment readiness, dependency tracking, and post-release follow-up
  • Experience with Jira, Jira workflows, Jira reporting, dashboards, and issue lifecycle management
  • Proven organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate schedules, action logs, and status summaries

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $113,750 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
