Who we are looking for

The CAI Financial Reporting Specialist is responsible for preparing and analyzing/reviewing more complex interim and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant GAAP requirements for alternative investments (hedge, private equity, exchange and real estate) funds.

From core custody, accounting, fund administration and shareholder recordkeeping, to complete operations solutions and servicing for alternative assets like OTC derivatives, private equity and real estate, SSGS’ tools help our clients make better investment choices and act on growth opportunities.

What you will be responsible for

  • Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reporting requirements for a variety of Fund structures

  • Participation in external and internal audits

  • Participation in the identification, design and implementation of process improvement opportunities.

  • Manage the process of updating and maintaining the Excel based financial statement templates and database information related to client specific reporting.

  • Review industry regulatory changes and accounting updates on a regular basis so that client financial reporting needs are current with industry standards.

  • Communicate regularly with clients as required, and to provide financial reporting, tax, audit information and industry/regulatory updates to clients.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • University degree in finance, accounting, Economics or other with relevant experience is preferred.

  • Demonstrated track record of managing client relationships with fund companies.

  • Flexible & positive attitude. Good organizational skills, administration and time management skills Good PC knowledge - hardware & software (specifically MS Office).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Range:

$51,000 - $84,000 Annual
