The Diners Club Network International Client Services manager role focuses on capturing and delivering precise, continuous compliance monitoring for Diners Club Network Participants (such as Issuers and Acquirers). The position aims to design and deploy forward-thinking monitoring solutions and evaluation tools that measure compliance levels and mitigate inherent risks across the global payment network.
As a key business analyst, you will elevate operational network compliance and help define the future of our global payment network—ideal for someone passionate about translating dynamic network policies into practical operational controls, designing executive dashboards, and maintaining audit-ready compliance monitoring solutions.
Core Responsibilities:
Policy Oversight & Compliance Monitoring
Operationalize Regulations: Become an expert on payment network policies and operating rules, identifying actionable operational requirements for internal teams and external clients.
Data Analysis: Analyze and improve operational data accuracy and metrics from DCI Participants to quantify their compliance levels, identify key risk indicators for reporting, and drive continuous compliance adherence improvements.
Risk Management & Control Monitoring
Control Environment & Monitoring: Design and implement monitoring programs, along with strengthening operational controls practices to ensure continuous alignment with network requirements, audit standards, compliance obligations, risk visibility, and network strategic direction.
Dashboard & Metrics Development: Build and maintain executive-level data reporting, key risk indicator (KRI) dashboards, and control assurance to give leadership clear visibility into DCI Participants’ compliance health.
Stakeholder Engagement & Process Modernization
Cross-Functional Partnership: Build deep trust and strong working relationships across Risk, Compliance, Legal, Product, Technology, and Operations.
Process Simplification & AI Adoption: Utilizes AI-enable tools to optimize current processes, automating monitoring tools to maximize consistency and efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
The Optimizer: You look beyond standard data and process to streamline network requirements, eliminating operational friction while tightening controls.
The Policy Translator: You can digest network requirements to convert them into clear, practical guidelines to support compliance adherence by DCI Participants
The Data-Driven Partner: You bring structure to operational controls, and compliance data standardization using metrics and visual dashboards
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
At least 4 years of experience in Payment Network Policy, Risk Management or Compliance within the financial services or payments industry
At least 3 years of Project Management, Business Analysis or Operational Management experience within the financial services or payments industry
At least 3 years of experience developing, evaluating, and implementing compliance and risk assessment activities
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working directly with card payment networks, issuing and acquiring institutions and payment processors
Experience creating executive dashboards or operational tracking systems using tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Advanced Excel
Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile/Scrum, Lean, or Six Sigma certifications

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Chicago, IL: $138,100 - $157,700 for Manager International Client Services
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
