We are looking to hire a dynamic Product Manager within the Cross Border Payments cluster team based in Singapore. This role is focused on supporting and growing Citi’s cross border payments business and in Asia South and JANA clusters.  The role will focus on enhancing client value, operational efficiency, and increasing market penetration by leading key product initiatives, driving adoption, and ensuring seamless execution. You will champion our cross border payments offering, leveraging deep market, industry insights and emerging trends to deliver on business goals. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop expertise in Citi’s cross border payments capabilities, product suitability, and technical aspects of the offering
  • As a product SME, drive engagement with sales and support cross border payments solutioning for select clients. Conduct trainings and execute internal/external communications for product launches and updates 
  • Develop tailored collateral and identify use cases to increase cross border payments penetration across multiple client segments
  • Support WorldLink onboarding, drive usage expansion, and alternative payment method adoption by engaging with internal stakeholders and clients
  • Independently lead data analysis, track business performance, and identify key insights and actionable for growing the business and reducing risk
  • Drive co-ordination with key partners including country and global product, sales & coverage partners, legal and compliance, technology, operations and service teams to ensure alignment and timely execution
  • Conduct competitive analysis and research for identifying cross-border payment trends and opportunities
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made and apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Skills and Competencies

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience ideally within Cash Management, Trade, or Securities Business
  • Good working knowledge of cross-border payments, FX, e-commerce, and emerging payment flows. 
  • Strong understanding of the competitive landscape, client requirements, and technical aspects including API and SWIFT setups. 
  • Critical thinking and strong analytical skills, with high proficiency in MS office including Excel and statistical analysis and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, SQL). 
  • Team player with demonstrated experience in end-to-end project delivery and leading large cross-functional initiatives. Ability to deal with and deliver under pressure working with partners across multiple time-zones.
  • Self-starter with ability to structure and break down complex problems, develop solutions, and drive results. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience in producing quality reports and presentations. 
     

Education  

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's Degree is Good to have
