Amazon is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join the Direct Tax Compliance and Reporting team. The Amazon tax department is a fast-paced, team-focused, dynamic environment. The Program Manager will manage projects that touch various teams and transform tax processes. The candidate will assist with project management of several projects focused on simplifying, standardizing, integrating, and automating processes owned by the US & Foreign Reporting and Compliance team, the US Outbound team, the Tax Provision team, and the Finance/Accounting/FP&A teams. The Program Manager must have broad project management experience in order to facilitate discussions and help the teams develop plans, organize action items, follow up, develop metrics and reporting mechanisms. The Program Manager needs a business background and some experience working across different groups and multiple stakeholders. This role will operate with independence and be expected to demonstrate an ability to provide ideas, collaborate and manage multiple projects at the same time. The work will be both tactical and strategic in nature and the role must be able to create clarity from ambiguous situations.

Key job responsibilities

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
