Job Description

About the role 

Join Takeda’s Neuchâtel manufacturing team as a Materials Management Analyst. You will ensure the timely availability of raw materials and auxiliary components needed to produce life-sustaining medicines. 

Working closely with Production, Quality, Procurement, Finance, suppliers, and other Takeda sites, you will manage material planning, purchasing, inventory, and supply risks in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. 

How you will contribute 

  • Plan and purchase raw materials and auxiliary materials based on production and laboratory requirements. 

  • Review MRP and purchasing messages, create and maintain purchase orders, and monitor supplier deliveries. 

  • Track material availability, stock-out risks, inventory status, safety stocks, and material release timelines. 

  • Coordinate inventory transfers between Takeda sites when required. 

  • Partner with Quality, Production, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and suppliers to resolve delivery, receiving, invoicing, and material issues. 

  • Escalate supply risks and provide clear visibility to stakeholders. 

  • Maintain supplier lead times, safety stocks, and other MRP and master data parameters. 

  • Lead daily material-risk discussions and follow up on agreed actions. 

  • Support material qualification activities and related purchasing processes. 

  • Analyze performance data and develop reports, scorecards, and digital tools to improve visibility and efficiency. 

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities, reduce excess or obsolete inventory, and drive continuous improvement. 

  • Support transformation initiatives and other supply chain projects. 

 

What you bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field. 

  • MBA and/or APICS certification is an advantage. 

  • At least four years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Materials Management, or a related area, preferably in manufacturing. 

  • Experience working with ERP systems; Proven experience using SAP S/4HANA in a manufacturing environment. 

  • Advanced Excel skills; Power BI experience is an advantage. 

  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, and inventory or material planning. 

  • Knowledge of GMP and experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or similarly regulated environment. 

  • Strong English communication skills. 

  • A proactive, autonomous, and dynamic approach, with the ability to work effectively in a changing environment. 

  • Strong commitment to integrity, compliance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Base Salary Range:

CHF85,400.00 - CHF117,700.00
