Job Description

About the role

As the Business Process Lead (BPL), Supply Chain Planning, you will lead the digital transformation and continuous improvement of Takeda’s global Supply Chain Planning processes. You will help shape efficient, scalable and system-enabled ways of working across demand, supply, inventory and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).

Working across Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing Sites, External Operations, Finance and Data, Digital & Technology (DD&T), you will translate business needs into global processes and digital solutions. You will play a key role in deploying and improving planning capabilities including SAP IBP, OBP, MEIO, APO and SAP ECC, helping ensure reliable product supply and sustainable business value.

How you will contribute

  • Act as a global Business Process and Digital Solution Owner for Supply Chain Planning, driving governance, standardization and process improvement.

  • Lead the design and implementation of digital solutions across demand, supply, inventory and S&OP planning.

  • Drive solutions from design and build through deployment, stabilization, adoption and benefits realization.

  • Partner with Global Supply Chain, DD&T, Finance, Manufacturing Sites and External Operations to align processes, systems and priorities.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable, standardized and system-enabled Supply Chain Planning solutions.

  • Support global capability building, including site onboarding, super-user enablement, role-based training and go-live readiness.

  • Lead change management, hypercare and adoption activities to ensure sustainable implementation of new processes and technologies.

  • Contribute to communities of practice and Supply Chain capability-building initiatives, sharing best practices across the global organization.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain IT, planning technologies or digital transformation.

  • Strong end-to-end understanding of Supply Chain Planning processes, including demand, supply, inventory and S&OP.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP and Supply Chain Planning platforms such as SAP ECC, APO, IBP, OBP or comparable technologies.

  • Experience translating business requirements into scalable, standardized and digitally enabled solutions.

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects or processes and work independently in a global environment.

  • Strong ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders in a matrix organization.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to support decisions and process improvements.

  • Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to make complex topics clear and actionable.
