Job Description

The Supply Chain, S&OP and Demand Planner Iberia will manage the Supply Chain systems and processes for the cluster.

The individual will be responsible for ensuring all relevant Supply Chain systems and processes are appropriately developed, maintained and improved, including demand forecasting, supply of product to the markets, S&OP global process and support to new product launch.

Will be responsible for communicating Supply and Demand information to Supply Chain in a timely manner and liaising appropriately with QA, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial and other relevant functions to resolve supply issues.

The Supply Chain, S&OP and Demand Planner Iberia will manage Supply Chain audit readiness for the cluster in coordination with Quality and Finance. Responsible for the timely completion of goals and objectives.

Product Supply/ Demand planning

  • Working with the Regional/Cluster Supply Chain leaders to ensure reliable supply of Product to Customer and Patient
  • Manage Demand Forecast process for Cluster and drive S&OP process for the cluster
  • Work with Global Supply Chain to ensure uninterrupted supply of product to Cluster inventory
  • Team member in launch execution teams representing Cluster to manage launch of new products.
  • Support Cluster input to Tender Management.
  • Develop a strong working relationship with the internal and external stakeholders and take the lead in driving the projects towards the agreed goals, organizing processes, implementing direct effective actions, monitoring and presenting results and achievements;

Continuous Improvement / Process and Systems

  • Global/Cluster lead for new system and process implementation
  • Assemble/lead cross functional teams/sub-teams to resolve systemic and systematic network issues across various areas of technical and life cycle complexity that ultimately support product in the market where poor decisions impact brand availability and Takeda sales.
  • Lead projects in support of continuous improvement of systems and processes

Supply Chain Support

  • Manage Supply Chain Support systems to ensure availability and reliability.
  • Manage Global/Cluster Supply Chain processes in support of reliable supply of product to Customer and Patient
  • Manage Internal and External Reporting as required to support compliant reliable supply of product to Customer and Patient
  • Manage interface with key Distribution partners.

Education:

  • BA/BS or Master’s degree (or both) in Engineering, Business, Science, Finance or Marketing
  • Bachelor Degree in business, Supply Chain or equivalent

Skills

  • Provide open and collaborative ways of working to support various functional and/or departmental initiatives evaluating major issues and removing or reducing the risk from obstacles/variables that may arise.
  • Impact through successful leadership and development of plans based on a sound understanding of the external market, internal requirements and the ability.
  • Support implementation of Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to think “outside the box” and be well versed in the global distribution
  • Knowledge of different aspects of regulatory compliance that impact a pharmaceutical supply chain. This can include but is not limited to GxP considerations and controlled substance regulations
  • Effective written and oral communication skills are required to facilitate information flow across internal / external supply chain partners and senior leadership.
  • Must be able to demonstrate leadership ability in driving change within an organization. This could include systems, processes or tools to drive success
  • Knowledge of Good Distribution Practices;
  • Knowledge of SAP SD/MM modules; Knowledge of the distribution business of pharmaceutical products;
  • Knowledge of the operation of the Supply Chain;
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate reports;
  • Written and verbal English communication skills

Base Salary Range:

€46,400.00 - €63,800.00

The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
